What type of anti-virus software should I get for my computer? I wan't to really start protecting my system.

Norton is always good. Try downloading Ad-Aware SE Personal. I have that on my computer and it helps keep everything out that you don't want. Mikey might know of some others.
I use Norton too. I get a free copy from work. You should check to see if you do.
